Ju Xiaowen became the hottest Chinese model of the moment when it was announced she would become the new face of L’Oréal Paris.
She was scouted by a Chinese modeling agency on the street of Xi’an, the city where she was born and has been sought after by the global fashion industry since 2010. After signing with IMG model management, she started to walk in fashion shows for major designers including DKNY, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Calvin Klein, Prada, Louis Vuitton and Hermes. She has also been featured on the covers and in editorials of many fashion magazines, as well as the ad campaigns for Dior, Kenzo, Chanel, Coach and Tory Burch.
Ju’s youthful face and slender figure led her to become a favor of Miuccia Prada and Marc Jacob. Prada described her as “a true Prada girl' and booked her every season. She is also the first Chinese girl to ever front Marc Jacobs’s ad campaign.
Though she always shows a cool face on the stage, Ju is pretty cute and goofy off the stage, which people can get from her backstage photos and social media accounts.
